Learning from the best
Analyzing the success of Google and Meta, and looking at how traditional media operate, I have made a few findings that I want to share with you.Â
I see that there are 3 building blocks that are critical to create a great advertising experience:
- Data – Relevant and valuable for advertisers
- Integration – Link media to advertiser, from ad impression to conversion
- Validation – Report back to the advertisers using the same data as they target with
Unfortunatley most media houses are lacking at least one, and sometimes all of these building blocks. This makes it hard to compete in the digital marketing space and sales suffer as a consequence.
